Derren Neve qualified as a dental technician in 1989 at Southampton Technical College (GDC no – 135026). He is a director of two dental companies and co-inventor of the SnapLok and Krystal model tray systems for crown and bridge work.
He was trained in 2005 by the inventor of Valplast flexible partial dentures, Arpad Nagy, in New York. The training included all aspects of design and manufacture of removable appliances and specifically Valplast flexible partial dentures.
He is a Certified Valplast trainer, responsible for providing training and full technical support to dental technicians, dentists and patients in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands and South Africa. This also includes Valplast training and lectures for the US forces in Germany. He lectures internationally and gives seminars throughout the UK to the dental profession on removable flexible appliances.
